(Photos by Bert Koopman, Ed Straten & Tracy Dungan)

The V2 rocket in Delft was, until recently, located inside the Leger Museum (Army museum) and is on public display. Delft is close to the international known city The Haque (Den Haag) where many V2s were launched. The Museum is located at "Korte Geer 1" in Delft and the opening time is Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. hours and on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. hours -Admission is six guilders (fl.6,-) that is about 3 dollars-

The board of directors of the Dutch "Legermuseum" Army Museum has placed the collection of V-Weapons into the museum storage - away from public view. This collection of a V2 with launching table and a detailed motor and pump, together with a very nice and original V1 on its original trolly "Vorbringerwagen" and a manned V1 version "Reichenberg" are unique in the world. Because these are 100% original and no parts were made after the war to complete the rockets. The collection will be stored until the new museum facility is completed, which might take several years.
